WAKATI miili ya wanajeshi saba wa Tanzania waliouwawa huko Darfur, Sudan wakiagwa kwa heshima nchini humo na kuanza mipango ya kurejeshwa nchini kwa ajili ya mazishji yake, Jeshi la Watanzania Tanzania, JWTZ, limekanusha taarifa za kuwepo kwa ongezeko la vifo vya askari wake.
Msemaji wa jeshi hilo. amenukuliwa hivi punde na Clouds FM kwamba hakuna askari mwingine aliyefariki japo alikiri mmoja wa majeruhi wa tukio hilo hali yake ni tete kiasi cha kuhamishwa hospitali aliyokuwa akipewa huduma na wenzake 9 na kupelekwa Khartoum kwa matibabu zaidi.
"Hatujui hizi taarifa zinazowekwa kwenye mitandao ya kijamii wanazipata wapi wakati sisi ndiyo wenye kuhusika na tukio, ila ukweli ni kwamba hakuna idadai iliyoongezeka ya vifo na jeshi halina sababu ya kuficha kitu," alisema Kanali Kapambala Mgawe Msemaji wa JWTZ.
Kanali Mgawe alisema hali za majeruhi wengine tisa zinaendelea vyema kiasi cha kuweza kutembea wenyewe japo mwenzao mmoja amehamishiwa Khartoum kwa matibabu zaidi na kuwataka watanzania wasiwe na hofu wala kuziamini taarifa hizo zinazoandikwa na kuwekwa kila muda katika mitandao hiyo.
"Watanzania hawana haja ya kuwa na hofu hali za askari wetu zinaendelea vyema japo mmoja hali yake siyo nzuri sana na kulazimika kuhamishiwa mjini Khartoum kwa matibabu zaidi na wenzake tisa tunashukuru kwani wanaendelea vyema," alisema.

The
African Union – United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), held a
memorial ceremony, in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, to honor the
seven fallen peacekeepers who lost their lives in the 13 July attack in
South Darfur. The bodies are scheduled to be repatriated to Tanzania,
the home country of the fallen peacekeepers. In addition to the seven
killed, 17 military and police personnel were wounded, among them two
female Police Advisors, all of whom are recovering from their injuries

14 July 2013, following a 13 July attack in which seven military
peacekeepers of the African Union - United Nations Mission in Darfur
(UNAMID) were killed and 17 military and Police personnel wounded, among
them two female Police Advisers, Joint Special Representative Mohamed
Ibn Chambas visited the wounded peacekeepers at UNAMID’s hospital in
