Simba ipo mtegoni kwa sababu JKT inanolewa na nyota wake wa zamani, Abdallah Kibadeni ambaye anahitaji angalau sare ama ushindi ili kubakia ligi ya msimu ujao, lakini Wekundu wa Msimbazi wakihitaji ushindi ili kuvunjwa mwiko wa misimu mitatu mfululizo ikishindwa kushika nafasi ya pili.
Mara ya mwisho Simba kuingia kwenye Mbili Bora ni msimu walipotwaa taji lao la mwisho la ligi hiyo 2011-2012, tangu hapo imekuwa ikitaabika kushika angalau nafasi ya pili kutokana na Azam na Yanga kujimilikisha nafasi hizo na kupokezana kama mbio za vijiti.
Tayari imeshatetea ubingwa mapema na kesho ikiwa mjini Songea, Ruvuma itakuwa ikikamilisha ratiba tu dhidi ya Majimaji kwani haina cha kupoteza, huku ikiziachia msala Simba na Azam zitakazopigana vikumbo kuwania nafasi ya pili. Azam itakayoumana na timu nyingine inayochuana kuepuka kushuka daraja ya Mgambo JKT, ipo nafasi ya pili kwa sasa ikiwa na pointi 63, moja zaidi ya ilizonazo Simba.
Kama Simba itashinda na Azam kupoteza kwa Mgambo ina maana Simba itakamata nafasi ya pili, ila kama Azam itashinda na Simba kushinda bado Azam pia itatesa nyuma ya Yanga wakati Simba itabakia nafasi yake ya sasa ya tatu.
Mechi nyingine zitakazochezwa kesho kwa mujibu wa ratiba ya TFF ni Mtibwa Sugar kuvaana na Mhanga wa kutaka kushuka daraja African Sports ya Tanga, huku Coastal Union iliyoshuka daraja tayari itaumana na Prisons inayowania nafasi ya nne ikienda sawa na Mtibwa.
