GHANA, one of the boxing
powerhouses in African continent is edging towards three biggest IBF
tournaments next week on May 3rd, 2013 at the Accra Sports
Arena in Ghana

Promotion Syndicate is at it again and this
time Ghanaian boxing stakeholders and the whole of West Africa region will
enjoy a thrilling moment which they all have been carving for.
This is one of the major
IBF tournaments in Sub Sahara Africa and nothing is being left to chance
as the promoters “Henry Many-Spain and Michael Tetteh” painstakingly
deal with all the final details for this epic duel!

Drawing the line of this
epic boxing tournament is none other than two of the Ghanaian’s most fiercest
opponents in Jr. Middleweight, Albert Mensah when he confront his
archenemy Ben Odemattey.
The duo is battling for
the “IBF Continental Africa Jr. Middle Weight Crown”. Came sun, come
rain one of them would be the King of the Jr, Middleweight in Africa.
Following this epic
bout, will be the Princessfrom Nigerian boxing royal family, Princess
Helen Joseph when she goes toe to toe with another Princess from
Austro-Hungarian Boxing Empire, Princess Marianna Gulyas.
The two beautiful
Princesses who would pass in a beauty-parget are battling for the “IBF
vacant Intercontinental Featherweight Female Crown”.
"We are definately going to get the crown" said
Koffi Dakku-Ricketts,the man who is behind Princess Helen's success as a
trainer. Ricketts boast of many similar success stories and make him
one of the best trainers Ghana has ever had in years!
This has been “a seek
and hide game” for the past two years but, this time around, no ground can
hide any of the two as the moment of truth is about to come.
The man of the moment is
none other than the Ghanaian ups and comings boxing star and Olympiad boxer “Issa
Samir” in a duel of his life when he host the handsome Georgian true-nan
and flamboyant “Robison Omshashavili” for the vacant “IBF World Jr.
Middleweight Crown” in a 12 rounds epic battle.
The bout christened“The
Battle of the Gold Coast” would rekindle the memory when one of the
Ghanaian boxing king, Professor Azumah Nelson when hosted Sidnei Dal
Rovere in a similar battle at the Accra Sports Stadium in 1988.
The ground can be “quicksand”
for the two as they crave to prove to the whole world that they are indeed “pound
for pound” gladiators and future world champions on the rise!
This is; in a matter of
fact “a thumb up” for Ghana as it makes African continent proud once
again after shining out during the last “World Cup tournament” in South
Africa.
