Emirates Country Manager for
Tanzania Abdulaziz Al Hai speaking to the Media during the Iftar dinner last
evening in honour of its trade partners and the Media at the Hyatt Regency Dar
es Salaam, the Kilimanjaro.
Speaking at the event, Emirates Country Manager for
Tanzania Abdulaziz Al Hai thanked the Government of Tanzania, trade partners
and the media for their outstanding and continuous support to the airline.
“Ramadan is a period of sharing and we are pleased that
each one of you found time to join us as we celebrate Iftar,” said Al Hai.
“Our
services in Tanzania have gone from strength to strength over the last 15 years
and we owe our success to the very important partnerships we have with our
trade partners, our loyal customers, as well as the media. This event is an amicable
opportunity for us to show our appreciation for your vital role in the growth
of Emirates in Tanzania. I am confident we can always count on your assistance going
forward.”
He noted
that the provision of excellent in-flight service and entertainment, ongoing
network expansion and focus on developing innovative ways to improve customer
comfort and convenience have been key in driving success for Emirates in Tanzania.
“Our modern
and convenient Dubai hub enables our customers to seamlessly connect to our
ever-expanding global network,” Al Hai said.
Emirates established operations in
Tanzania in 1997. Currently, the airline flies daily from Julius Nyerere International
Airport (JNIA) to Dubai, connecting passengers to 134 destinations in 77
countries across six continents.
EK 725 departs Dubai International Airport every day at
1015hrs and arrives at the Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es
Salaam at 1455hrs. The return flight leaves JNIA at 1645hrs and lands in Dubai
at 2320hrs every day.
